About The Texan BBQ

The Texan BAR-B-Q has been pit-barbequeing quality meats the Texas way - slow-cooked with freshly cut hickory logs for 15 hours at 200 degrees.

Glenn Raddatz, founder of The Real Texan BAR-B-Q previously owned and operated an air freight business and often traveled to Texas. His love for a real Texan meal led Raddatz to open The Real Texan BAR-B-Q in 1984. They have come along way from the 15 seat dining area to presently room for over 100 guests. The menu is filled with delicious entrees such as Hickory Smoked Ribs, Spicy Cajun Chicken and Farm raised Catfish.
